Reports, But at a New Ninja Speed!

We have a platform update we think you’ll be excited about: This week, the NinjaCat platform will be getting a ‘turbo boost!’

What does this mean for you?

• Reports will run faster

• Templates will load faster

• Data will be consistent across templates, reports, and dashboards.

How is this going to happen?

To increase speed, we are optimizing the way we pull data into NinjaCat from the following providers:

• Google Ads

• Google My Business

• Microsoft Advertising (Bing Ads)

• Facebook

• Instagram

• Search Console

• Yahoo

• AdRoll

• ReachLocal

• URL

• SQL

• Google Sheets

These providers will now populate our Data Warehouse (DWH) for reporting once a day: in the morning. Reports will be generated out of the DWH, rather than making multiple live API calls on demand. This will make these data sources consistent with all other data sources, which have been operating in this manner for quite some time.

What should you expect?

Depending on the time of day you’re analyzing your reports, you may notice slight variations in NinjaCat’s data and what’s showing in the direct provider’s UI. Google Ads, for example, may display an increased number of clicks or conversions than NinjaCat, but that’s simply because NinjaCat’s DWH refresh happened before these adjustments. By the next day, however, any minor discrepancies will have auto-corrected.

This ‘turbo-boost’ is intended to enhance NinjaCat’s overall agility and performance while optimizing your marketing report automation workflow. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to [email protected].

Take care, and stay curious.
